David Beckham is currently recovering in hospital following surgery to address a long-standing wrist injury. His wife, Victoria Beckham, shared a snapshot of his recovery with fans.
On Friday, Victoria posted a photo on her Instagram Stories showing the football legend, 50, in a hospital bed. He was wearing a hospital gown and his arm was supported by a blue sling.
Accompanying the photo was the caption "Get well soon daddy" along with a heart emoji. This gesture of support from the former Spice Girl and fashion designer highlights the close bond between the couple. The injury dates back to 2003, sustained during an England match.
Although specific medical details have not been released, the surgery is believed to be related to the same wrist issue that has troubled him since his playing career. Despite the discomfort, Beckham appeared to be in good spirits, offering a gentle smile for the camera as he recovers from the procedure.
Victoria also shared another heartwarming image of David holding a friendship bracelet. The bracelet spelled out "Get well soon" in colorful beads – presumably a loving gift from one of their four children: Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, or Harper.
The hospital visit comes shortly after the announcement that Beckham will be knighted by King Charles, officially becoming "Sir David Beckham". Victoria celebrated the news on Instagram, writing, "You’ve always been my knight in shining armor, but now it’s official."
The couple recently celebrated Father’s Day. Victoria shared throwback clips and photos of David with their children, referring to him as "the best daddy there is".
Married since 1999, David and Victoria Beckham continue to demonstrate that family is central to their lives—even amidst unexpected hospital visits.
