BTS member Jin has made a spectacular comeback, delivering an unforgettable solo fan concert, #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR, at the Goyang Sports Complex in Korea on June 28th. This marked Jin's first major event since completing his military service, turning the venue into a vibrant festival for ARMYs who flocked in from around the globe.
The concert was designed to be interactive, featuring sing-alongs, games, and engaging missions for fans.
Jin ignited the stage with 'Running Wild,' the dynamic title track from his solo mini-album 'Happy.' The setlist was a carefully curated blend of emotions and genres, including tracks like 'I'll Be There,' 'A Trip with Clouds,' 'Until I Reach You,' 'Don't Say You Love Me,' and the wildly popular 'Super Tuna.' Each performance was enhanced with creative stage visuals, such as an LED display mirroring Jin's signature hand-kiss gesture.
During 'A Trip with Clouds,' the stage showcased scenes from Jin's YouTube variety show 'Run Seokjin,' guiding fans on a virtual journey up Korea's Hallasan mountain. 'Super Tuna' brought back the playful side of Jin, drawing inspiration from his show's 'Marine Police' episode.
A highlight of the night was when Jin performed 'Loser' from his second mini-album 'Echo,' joined by surprise guest, K-pop soloist Choi Yena.
Jin paid tribute to his roots with a medley of BTS's biggest hits, including 'Dynamite,' 'Butter,' 'Mikrokosmos,' and 'Spring Day.' The stadium resonated with thousands of voices singing along.
The night concluded with heartfelt encore performances of 'Moon' and 'To Myself Today.' Jin is scheduled to perform again at the same venue on June 29, followed by a global tour with stops in Japan, the US, the UK, and the Netherlands, encompassing 18 shows in 9 cities.
This concert stood out because of the strong connection between Jin and his fans. He engaged with the audience through group sing-alongs and playful interactions, creating a family atmosphere. The stage setup was visually stunning, with LED displays and creative props. The event was also streamed online and broadcast on large screens in Seoul.
Following his shows in Korea, Jin's world tour will continue in Japan (Chiba and Osaka), the US (Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, Newark), the UK (London), and the Netherlands (Amsterdam).
